Computer-generated imagery in film and animation

The history of film began in early 1830 when first moving images were produced on revolving drums and disks but the film at that time is different with our film nowadays. They are silent (no sound effect) for the first 30 years after moving image invented also the picture only black and white until 1902 because they do not have technology to did that at the moment. However, in 2001 computer-generated imagery (CGI) became more and more popular. Computer-generated imagery is application of computer graphic to help people to contribute and make a static or dynamic  image in videogame, film, and animation.

The reason CGI became popular because many successful sci-fi and animation film (eg. The lord of the ring trilogy and monster Inc.) Use CGI which is can encourage other people who want to make sci-fi and animation film in the future and CGI can helped make effect cheaper to create which is good for producer of the movies. CGI also can make Architectural scenes, generating cloth and skin images, and Virtual worlds.
